Have you ever considered you might have bouncing visitors because you have pages that aren’t compatible with certain web browsers? Do you want to find out how to check this?
Log into Google Analytics as you normally would. Click ‘Content”, then click ‘Site Content’, and finally click ‘Pages’.
Now you should see a screen that looks like this:
Okay, now we want to click the secondary dimensions tab. Select ‘Technology’, then choose ‘Browser’.
Now you will be able to check for patterns that look unusual. The example I have attached below highlights that one of his pages clearly isn’t compatibile with Safari as a bounce rate of 100% would suggest this. Compared with the other broswers which have a bounce rate of 0%. Unless this is a terrible coincidence of course.
